Drill Pipe

Drill pipe is the most simple drill string component and connects the bottom hole assembly with the surface and allows reaching the required depth. It serves as a conduit of drilling fluid and transmitter of loads from surface to bottom. A seamless cylindrical tube made of steel or aluminium comprises it. Threaded at extremes it can be coupled between several joints.

We supply drill pipe with OD sizes from 1 3/4” to 14”, and it can come in customized length from 5 ft up to 46 ft according to the client needs. Any kind of connection can be manufactured by TDS, we fit any criteria you may have. If required, hard banding for increasing drill pipe resistance can be applied.

TDS also manufactures drill pipe out of many other materials including A106 B, J55, 4140 L80, 4140 P110 as well as 300 series stainless steel.
